Hi dolls! It’s my birthday month… So, I can’t think of a better time to share some tips on how I like to get a party started. It all starts with a sprinkle of some sparkle & you’ve got to be the glitter!
Without further ado, here are my top tier tips for a terrific time with family or friends… Whether it’s an intimate gathering in a cozy setting or a grand soirée let's ensure its unforgettable! 🎉✨✨

  1. AVOID OUTFIT AGGRAVATION: Select your look for the festivities far in advance… Also, have backup outfit prepared – in case your mood (or the forecast) changes. 👗✨ Consider the elements like the weather & whether the party is indoors or outdoors… You want to be able to remain in party-mode at all times, so make sure to prioritize comfort without sacrificing style.

  1. A MULTITUDE OF MENU ITEMS: When planning what to serve, try to be diverse & cater to all tastes & preferences… Remember that people have dietary restrictions & preferences… This detail matters, down to the drinks! Make a mix of cocktails & mocktails to ensure all guests are able to feel included. Consider a vast variety of snacks, hors d'oeuvres & dishes before selecting what’s on your menu. In my experience, a well-thought-out meal makes my guests feel fully cared for, catered to & loved. 🍰 🍭 🧁

  1. FEEL THE FLOW: Whether it’s a curated playlist that’s popping, you’re planning for a live performance, or hiring a DJ – keep the good tunes going constantly in the background… Ensure good energy & set the mood. I like to start with a softer, chill vibe in the beginning while everyone is warming up… I like lively tunes towards the middle of the party peak & then switch to a lower-key as we wrap things up. 💃🏻🕺🏻🪩 REMEMBER, ANY FLOOR CAN BE A DANCE FLOOR! *I’m all for being The Dancing Queen – whether or not anyone’s willing to join me.* 😉

CAPTURE THE MOMENTS: 📸 ✨✨✨ It’s ideal if you can hire a photographer – but it’s also amazing to simply set up a ring light with fun, curated props… Perhaps ones that reflect the theme of your get-together. Capturing candid moments will provide lasting memories for you & your guests. Encourage everyone to take photos! Make sure to create a unique hashtag for your event, so that everyone can access the images! #JENUINELYGOODPARTYTIP

  1. THIS GAME IS A GIFT: 🧠🎁 One of my absolute favorite things to do with my guests is to play my signature (literal) “MEMORY” game. Have everyone gather in a circle… Ask each guest to share their most cherished/favorite/funniest memory that they’ve had with the host or guest of honor. This is always fun; it helps to create connection & creates a warm environment. It’s a sure way to bring lots of laughs, love & makes for great small talk afterward!

A little extra note to always check the forecast… 🌪 ☔️ FAR IN ADVANCE & AGAIN AS YOU GET CLOSER TO THE BIG DAY… This year, my party was smack in the middle of a hurricane with a tornado watch!
